Manjaro Linux 24.2.0 Yonada (GNOME edition) was released in December 2024. It targets users who desire a cutting‑edge, Arch‑based distribution with a polished GNOME desktop while retaining the simplicity of a point‑release installer. The ISO is built exclusively for 64‑bit hardware.

The Yonada point release ships with GNOME 45, bringing a refreshed Activities Overview, improved multitasking, and native Wayland support out of the box. It also upgrades the core system to the Linux 6.8 LTS kernel, delivering better hardware compatibility and power‑management features. The Calamares installer has been streamlined with a clearer partitioning wizard and automatic SSD detection. Manjaro Settings Manager now includes a unified theme selector and simplified driver installer.
