Ubuntu 14.04.6 LTS "Trusty Tahr" Desktop 64-bit is a point‑release of the long‑term support Ubuntu series. Although the exact release date was not publicly disclosed, this edition targets both new users and enterprises that require a stable, secure desktop environment on x86_64 hardware.
